Can ChatGPT change my campaigns without asking?

No. Reads happen freely; writes do not. New campaigns and ad groups are created paused, and anything that moves money — a budget, a bid, a new audience — is proposed to you and waits. You approve it, or you do not, and nothing happens either way until you decide. Is there an official ChatGPT integration for Google Ads?

Not from Google. ChatGPT reaches Google Ads through a third-party connector, and the connector decides what it may do: most are read-only reporting bridges, while an MCP server with write scopes can also make changes. LoomaScale is the second kind.

Can ChatGPT see my Google Ads data without a connector?

No. ChatGPT cannot sign in to your account and has no access to it. Without a connector it can only comment on what you paste into the chat, which is why its advice reads generic — it is answering about Google Ads in general, not about your account.

Do I need a paid ChatGPT plan?

No. The connector behaves the same on free and paid ChatGPT accounts.
