Looking for a Windsor alternative usually means one of two things: replacing a reporting connector, or finding a tool to help run advertising accounts. The right choice depends on which job you need done.
This article compares Windsor.ai with LoomaScale. I am Andrii Pasika, LoomaScale's founder, and we publish this comparison. Product capabilities and prices were checked on October 31, 2026, using Windsor's public documentation and LoomaScale's current implementation. This is a product comparison, with no claim that either tool produces better campaign results.
What makes LoomaScale a Windsor.ai alternative?
LoomaScale connects Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console to your AI assistant. You can find wasted spend, inspect search queries, diagnose delivery problems, analyze website behavior and review organic search performance in one conversation. Campaign creation and changes are available for supported advertising workflows.
You can work from ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code or Codex. The documentation hub links the setup guides for each assistant, including Manus and Slack. You connect the account, explain the business and ask for a specific job.
Windsor combines AI access with a broader data integration platform. Its MCP documentation covers marketing, analytics, CRM and warehouse data. That breadth matters if your question needs sources beyond LoomaScale's integrations.
| Decision | LoomaScale | Windsor.ai |
|---|---|---|
| Main reason to choose it | Advertising, website and search analysis in your assistant | Broad data integration, reporting and AI access |
| Data coverage | Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, GA4 and Search Console | Wider marketing and business connector catalog |
| Google and Meta campaign changes | Supported | Supported |
| Reporting destinations | Account analysis and reports in your assistant | AI assistants plus BI, spreadsheet and warehouse destinations |
| Plan allowance | Different ad accounts used per billing month | Connected data sources and selected accounts |
For Windsor's reporting destinations, see its platform overview. LoomaScale does not replace a scheduled pipeline feeding Power BI or BigQuery. If that pipeline is why you use Windsor, keep it in the requirements.
Can Windsor.ai also create and edit campaigns?
Yes. Windsor documents Google Ads campaign, ad group and responsive search ad creation, budgets, keyword changes and negative keywords. Its Google Ads MCP page lists the actions. Its Meta Ads documentation also covers campaign, ad set and ad creation and editing.
Campaign management is therefore an overlap between the products. Ask whether each connector can complete the particular job you need: changing one existing ad, investigating a Performance Max asset group, or reviewing search terms across client accounts. A generic “write access” label cannot answer those questions.
In LoomaScale, useful starting jobs include a Google Ads waste audit, a Facebook and Instagram ads audit, and a review of multiple Google Ads client accounts. Those guides show the prompts, evidence to inspect and follow-up work.
How do LoomaScale and Windsor prices compare?
These are USD subscription prices with monthly billing, checked on October 31, 2026. Annual billing has different prices. Advertising spend and any separate AI assistant costs are additional.
| Plan | Price per month | Included allowance |
|---|---|---|
| LoomaScale Starter | $19 | 2 ad accounts per billing month |
| LoomaScale Business | $39 | 5 ad accounts per billing month |
| LoomaScale Portfolio | $149 | 50 ad accounts per billing month |
| Windsor Basic | $23 | 3 data sources, 75 accounts |
| Windsor Standard | $118 | 7 data sources, 75 accounts |
| Windsor Plus | $299 | Everything in Standard, 200 accounts |
Sources: LoomaScale pricing and Windsor pricing. These allowances measure different things. LoomaScale does not meter questions or tool calls within the ad accounts your plan covers. Additional ad accounts cost $9 per month on Starter, $5 on Business and $2 on Portfolio; the add-on renews until reduced or canceled. GA4 and Search Console properties do not use the ad-account allowance.
Windsor explains data sources and account counting separately. A platform such as Google Ads is one source; individual ad accounts and analytics properties count toward the total account allowance. Your AI assistant is a destination, not another source.
Which plan fits your actual setup?
One Google Ads account and one Meta Ads account fit LoomaScale Starter at $19 per month. Adding GA4 and Search Console does not use more LoomaScale ad-account slots.
That same combination is four Windsor data sources, so Basic's three-source limit would not cover it. Standard covers that source count, at $118 a month: more than LoomaScale for up to twenty ad accounts, since Business with fifteen extra accounts covers twenty for $114 and GA4 and Search Console never use a slot. Conversely, an agency using many accounts across only Google Ads, Meta Ads and GA4 may get a much lower subscription cost from Windsor Basic. LoomaScale's smaller starting price does not make it cheaper for every agency.
What happens when you need a 76th account on Windsor?
Windsor's price jumps from $23 to $299 per month. Basic and Standard both stop at 75 accounts, so the 76th account requires Plus, even if you use only two data sources. An agency with 75 Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts on Basic pays 13 times more after adding one client.
LoomaScale adds capacity one ad account at a time: $9 per month on Starter, $5 on Business and $2 on Portfolio. Moving from 50 to 51 accounts on Portfolio adds $2, with no plan change. This is where the smaller steps pay off: 76 accounts on Portfolio cost $149 plus 26 × $2, or $201 per month, against $299 for Windsor Plus, and LoomaScale stays the cheaper of the two up to 125 accounts. They do not make it cheaper at every size: 126 accounts on Portfolio cost $149 plus 76 × $2, or $301 per month, against $299 for Windsor Plus, which covers up to 200. Price the account count you expect over the next year, not only today's.
How transparent is each tool's billing?
Trustpilot's AI-generated summary of Windsor's reviews (3.5 out of 5 from 85 reviews, checked October 31, 2026) says some reviewers reported frustrating billing practices and difficulty obtaining refunds or changing subscription plans. These are individual opinions that Trustpilot does not fact-check, so read them yourself.
LoomaScale publishes every number that determines your bill:
- Plan prices and allowances for monthly and annual billing, on the pricing page.
- The price of each extra ad account, so adding a client never forces an unexpected plan change.
- What counts as usage: ad accounts used in the billing month. Questions, tool calls, GA4 properties and Search Console properties are not metered.
- The refund rule: a full refund of your first payment within 14 days if you used no more than 20% of the plan's ad accounts, set out in the refund policy.
Write down both your source list and your account count before comparing totals. Do not compare an annually billed headline price with a monthly subscription.
What controls apply when you change an account?
LoomaScale creates new Google and Meta campaigns paused. Budget requests and activation are checked against your configured daily campaign budget cap. The cap controls permitted settings; it is not a guarantee of total account spend. The guardrail documentation explains how it works.
Within permitted limits, an instruction to make a change can execute without another confirmation step. Start with a report-only instruction, review the evidence and then request a specific correction. Windsor also documents confirmation before actions in its MCP overview. Test the behavior in the assistant you intend to use.
How should you test a Windsor alternative?
Use the same account, date range and business objective with each tool. Start with a task you already understand, so you can tell whether the answer is useful.
1. Reconcile one report
Request campaign spend, conversions and conversion value for the last 30 complete days. Check the account ID, currency, time zone and conversion definitions against the ad platform. Then request one follow-up, such as a search-term breakdown. The answer should identify missing data rather than fill gaps with guesses.
2. Inspect a recommendation
Use this prompt on a connected Google Ads account:
Review my Google Ads account for the last 30 complete days. Do not make changes. Confirm the account ID, currency and reporting dates. Find potentially irrelevant search terms and show each term's campaign, spend, conversions and proposed negative match type. Separate irrelevant intent from relevant searches with too little evidence or delayed conversions. Rank the findings and explain what I should check before approving a change.
Evaluate the reasoning. A search for jobs and a relevant service query with a long sales cycle need different treatment. A convincing paragraph without the underlying search terms is insufficient.
3. Verify one requested change
If the recommendation is sound, authorize one narrowly scoped correction. Ask the assistant to read the updated setting back, and inspect the platform's change history. Save the original setting so you can reverse it. This tests the workflow; it does not establish a ROAS improvement during a short trial.
How can you switch from Windsor without losing reports?
Connecting LoomaScale to an existing ad account does not require rebuilding its campaigns. Reports, destination tables and scheduled syncs in Windsor are a separate handover.
- Inventory what Windsor does today. Include assistants, dashboards, spreadsheets, warehouse tables and scheduled jobs.
- Connect one account to LoomaScale. Use the ChatGPT setup guide or Claude setup guide, then run a report-only comparison.
- Choose which tool makes changes. Review existing automation before allowing two tools to adjust the same campaigns.
- Keep required reporting jobs running. Replace and verify each destination before retiring its existing feed.
- Review access and billing separately. Revoking a connection and canceling a subscription are different tasks.
