Best Meta Ads MCP Servers in 2026: 6 Options Ranked

Six connectors that give ChatGPT or Claude real access to Meta Ads — ranked by what each one can change, not by how many tools it lists.

Six connectors now put a Meta ad account inside ChatGPT or Claude. They are not interchangeable. Some will rebuild a campaign; some will only ever read one. That difference decides which is right for you, and it is rarely the first thing on a pricing page.

Editorial disclosure. This guide is published by LoomaScale and ranks our own product first. The scores, our 9.7/10 included, are publisher-assigned editorial judgements — not independent benchmarks, customer-review averages or measured performance. We read public documentation and repositories rather than running a hands-on performance or security audit. Every claim about another product below links to that product's own page, so you can check each one without taking our word for it. The scores measure fit for Meta work specifically, so a vendor that also appears in our Google Ads roundup can sit at a different number there.

Which Meta Ads MCP server is best?

LoomaScale, for an advertiser who wants to read and change Meta Ads and Google Ads from ChatGPT or Claude without running a server. Account analysis, campaign creation and account changes happen in the same conversation, with creation forced paused and a daily spend cap the server enforces rather than promises.

The right answer changes with the job. Some teams need campaign operations and creative uploads. Some deliberately want reporting with no write access at all. Developers may want code they can read more than a setup someone else maintains.

That distinction matters more than the number of tools on a product page.

What is a Meta Ads MCP server?

A Meta Ads MCP server connects an AI assistant to Meta advertising data, and to whatever account actions it chooses to expose, through the Model Context Protocol. MCP is the standard for how an AI application reaches external tools and data. The connector supplies the reach; the assistant interprets your request and decides which tools to call.

Depending on the server and the permissions you granted it, you can pull campaign results, inspect ad sets, review creatives, or change the account. Meta's own server documents both reporting and campaign management. Adzviser deliberately documents reporting only.

So there are two different questions, and a connector can answer the first without being able to act on the second: which campaigns got worse this week, and then, reduce the budget on this one campaign and leave everything else alone. Do not assume the second follows from the first.

What an MCP server is and how to vet one covers the general shape — scopes, tool inventories, hosted against self-hosted, and the Google Ads roundup ranks the same category on the other platform. This page is the Meta shortlist.

How did we rank these Meta Ads MCP servers?

The ranking is written for PPC consultants, boutique agencies and ecommerce operators doing recurring advertising work with an assistant, not for a one-off experiment.

Five questions decided the order. Does the server expose reporting worth having? Can it make the account changes its audience actually needs? How much setup and maintenance does it cost you? What controls govern write access? And does its platform coverage match the way you work?

These are editorial judgements, not a laboratory result. A lower-ranked specialist can be the better pick for a specific requirement — mandatory self-hosting, or a reporting-only access policy you have to honour.

1. LoomaScale — best for everyday Meta and Google Ads work

Editorial score: 9.7/10

LoomaScale is built for advertisers who want to work inside ChatGPT or Claude rather than maintain a reporting pipeline. The hosted connector covers Meta Ads and Google Ads, so account analysis and the changes that follow from it happen in one conversation.

On the Meta side that means reviewing performance, hunting wasted spend, checking for creative fatigue, building campaigns and reviewing budgets. You connect through the ChatGPT app or the Claude connector without configuring a Meta API integration of your own.

Why LoomaScale stands out

The sequence it is designed around is the practical one: understand what happened, decide what deserves attention, then ask for a specific change.

For a freelancer or a small agency that is the right way to judge an advertising assistant. The goal is not another table. It is getting from the table to a decision you can defend. What that looks like in one real account is the honest measure of it.

A good first prompt asks for evidence rather than action:

Review the last seven complete days against the previous seven on my Meta ad account. Identify the three changes that deserve investigation, show the underlying metrics for each, and explain what you would check next. Do not change anything.

That asks for the reasoning and the next step, instead of treating every dip as proof that an ad should be paused.

LoomaScale's guardrails and limits

The guardrails are enforced by the server, not described on a landing page. Campaigns and ad groups are created paused. Budget, bid and activation changes are checked against the daily spend cap set on your account, and a campaign LoomaScale did not create cannot be activated through it at all.

The trade-off is stated plainly in the documentation: within that cap, the assistant acts on your instruction without a further confirmation step. Set the cap to a number you are willing to spend, and read the limits before you decide how you want to work.

Coverage is Google Ads and Meta Ads, and nothing else. If a meaningful share of your budget sits on LinkedIn, TikTok or Amazon, compare the broader connectors below rather than assuming those networks are included. LoomaScale also runs no scheduler: you run the checks, or you save one as a scheduled Task in ChatGPT.

Pricing model: a 14-day free trial whose clock starts with your first task rather than at signup, no card. Paid plans carry task allowances after that.

Best fit: PPC freelancers, boutique agencies and ecommerce operators who want managed, conversational work across Meta and Google.

2. Pipeboard — best for campaign operations and creative workflows

Editorial score: 9.4/10

Pipeboard is a hosted Meta Ads MCP connection with both reporting and write capability. Its documented tools cover campaign and ad set operations, targeting, creatives, image uploads and performance insights, and the Meta connector sits inside a wider family of advertising integrations. The implementation is on GitHub.

Why Pipeboard stands out

Pipeboard earns attention when your evaluation goes past campaign summaries.

For an agency the real questions are whether a connector can upload creative, duplicate an existing structure, or repeat a change across accounts. Pipeboard's paid plans separate campaign duplication, ad set and ad duplication, bulk operations and account capacity, so the shortlist question becomes which tier carries your workflow.

Its access controls matter for teams too: read-only tokens and permissions that restrict accounts and tools, with availability depending on the plan. That is a way to keep reporting access separate from operational access.

What to watch with Pipeboard

Source available is not the same as open source. The repository carries the Business Source License 1.1, with restrictions on offering a competing hosted service. Read the licence before you build it into a commercial product of your own.

Then price the plan that contains your workflow, not the entry tier. Duplication, bulk operations and team controls are not evenly distributed across the ladder.

Pricing model: free and paid plans, differing in account capacity and operational features.

Best fit: teams whose shortlist is decided by creative handling, duplication and repeatable campaign operations.

3. Meta's official Ads MCP server — best first-party option

Editorial score: 9.2/10

Meta now hosts its own Ads MCP server: a direct route from an AI agent to Meta's advertising tools, with no third-party provider in between. The overview is in Meta's developer documentation.

It is not merely a reporting connector. The documentation covers campaign, ad set and ad creation and editing alongside reporting, signal diagnostics and activity logs.

Why Meta's own server stands out

A first-party connector belongs on any Meta-only shortlist. It is the platform's own interpretation of what an AI agent should be able to do, without choosing an advertising-software vendor as well.

Meta documents OAuth and user access token authentication, and states that owning a Meta developer app is not a prerequisite for every setup route, though the developer-app route has extra configuration.

What to watch with Meta's server

Its scope is Meta advertising. That is correct for a Meta-only advertiser and a limitation for an agency that wanted one provider across channels.

Before you adopt it, check which tools your connection actually exposes and run the operations you need. A broad documentation page is not a substitute for testing your own account, permissions and AI client.

Access model: Meta-hosted. Follow Meta's current setup documentation and confirm the access requirements and terms that apply to you.

Best fit: advertisers who run mostly on Meta and want to evaluate the platform's own connector first.

4. Adspirer — best for broader multi-platform advertising

Editorial score: 9.0/10

Adspirer is a managed MCP service that puts Meta beside other advertising platforms. Its published coverage is Google, Meta, Amazon, LinkedIn, TikTok and ChatGPT Ads.

Why Adspirer stands out

It is worth evaluating when Meta is one part of a wider paid-media workload.

Its Meta documentation describes creating campaigns with image, video and carousel formats, pausing and resuming entities, investigating creative fatigue, researching audiences and retrieving lead form submissions. New builds are documented as paused for review.

For a consultant juggling different channel mixes per client, the appeal is simple: fewer providers to configure and keep current. That is not the same as equal depth on every network, so point a trial at the campaign types your clients actually run.

What to watch with Adspirer

Watch how usage is counted. Adspirer's pricing documentation explains that each tool invocation counts against your allowance, so one conversational request can consume several. A multi-step campaign build should not be budgeted like a single data lookup.

Test an ordinary working week — account reviews, a campaign build, a creative investigation, a reporting task — and measure consumption against that, not against the number of messages you sent. The full head-to-head is here, including where we think they win.

Pricing model: a limited free tier and paid plans with tool-call allowances.

Best fit: advertisers whose main requirement is campaign work across a wider mix of networks.

5. Adzviser — best for read-only, cross-channel reporting

Editorial score: 8.7/10

Adzviser takes the opposite approach: its Meta Ads MCP connector is deliberately read-only. It retrieves advertising data without asking for campaign-management permission, and sits alongside sources such as Google Ads, Shopify and HubSpot.

Why Adzviser stands out

For a reporting team, read-only is the feature rather than the gap.

Its documented reporting runs to campaign, ad set and ad-level performance — spend, purchases, return on ad spend, creative information. The positioning is cross-channel analysis rather than execution.

Consider it when your questions span systems: what changed in advertising performance, how that compares with store revenue, and which results need explaining in the client report.

What to watch with Adzviser

It will not execute a budget change or launch a campaign through its Meta connector, and its own comparison says so: Meta's official connector manages, Adzviser reports.

Connecting datasets also does not resolve attribution differences by itself. When you reconcile against Ads Manager, hold the dates, the time zone and the attribution setting constant first.

Pricing model: paid plans organised around data-source coverage, with MCP support included.

Best fit: analysts, ecommerce reporting teams and agencies that want AI-assisted analysis without write access.

6. GoMarble Facebook Ads MCP Server — best open-source starting point

Editorial score: 8.4/10

GoMarble publishes an MIT-licensed Facebook and Meta Ads MCP server that runs locally. The repository documents a Python setup and connections to MCP clients such as Claude Desktop and Cursor.

Why GoMarble stands out

Its published tool inventory covers accounts, campaigns, ad sets, ads, creatives, performance insights and activity history — a reasonable foundation for a developer building custom reporting or account investigation.

The advantage is control. You can read and adapt the implementation instead of depending entirely on someone else's hosted interface.

What to watch with GoMarble

Judge it by the documented tool list rather than the repository's one-line description. That list is weighted towards retrieval and reporting, so do not assume a complete campaign-creation or budget-management workflow. Local configuration and token renewal stay your job.

Pricing model: MIT-licensed software. Budget your own setup, maintenance, hosting and AI-client costs.

Best fit: developers and technically comfortable marketers who want an inspectable reporting foundation rather than a turnkey operator.

How should you evaluate a Meta Ads MCP server?

The useful trial does not ask whether it connects. It asks whether it completes your real workflow with the access and the controls you require. Three acceptance tests get you there.

Check reporting against an account you already know

Pick one ad account and a completed reporting period, ask for a small set of metrics, and compare the answer with the report you already trust.

Make the assistant state the account, the date range, the currency and the metric definitions. Keep the attribution setting and the account time zone constant when you reconcile with Ads Manager.

Use only the ad account I name. Compare the last two completed weeks by campaign. Show the reporting dates, the currency and the conversion metric you used. Flag anything missing rather than estimating it.

Test the controls, not the conversation

Decide whether this connection should be reporting-only or allowed to change things, and enforce that through permissions where the product supports it, rather than through a sentence in a prompt.

Meta's MCP security guidance recommends reviewing scopes, revoking connections you no longer use, and accounting for prompt injection when an agent reads untrusted content.

For an agency, confirm the connection reaches only the intended client account. Treat that as an acceptance requirement before any real work goes through it.

Verify a small, paused build

On a write-capable connector, build one minimal paused campaign from your own approved assets and a clear brief.

Then read the created objects back and check the settings. "Done" in a chat reply is not the end of the test.

Your evaluation should answer five things: was the right account used, did the structure match the brief, did the assets attach, is everything still paused, and what happens when a required input is missing.

Which one should you choose?

The decision is rarely about price. It is whether you need answers, account actions, or control over the implementation.

  • Answers across several systems, with no write access. Adzviser.
  • A first-party Meta connection, Meta only. Meta's own server.
  • Campaign operations, creative uploads and duplication at agency volume. Pipeboard.
  • Campaign work spread across four or more networks. Adspirer.
  • Code you can read and host yourself. GoMarble.
  • Meta and Google managed together, from the chat window you already have open. LoomaScale.

Narrow the shortlist on that requirement before you compare prices, then run the three acceptance tests on the one or two that survive.

A read-only review is the cheapest place to start. Connect the account, ask for the evidence behind each finding, and change nothing until you have read it.

FAQ

Is a Facebook Ads MCP server the same as a Meta Ads MCP server?

In practice yes. Providers use both names for connectors to Meta advertising accounts, covering Facebook and Instagram campaigns alike. GoMarble's project is called Facebook Ads MCP Server and describes itself as a Facebook and Meta Ads integration.

Can an MCP server change my Meta Ads campaigns?

Only when the server exposes write tools and the connection holds the necessary permissions. Meta's official server documents campaign management actions, while a reporting-focused service such as Adzviser deliberately avoids write access. Check the implementation rather than assuming every MCP server behaves alike.

Do I need to write code to connect Meta Ads to ChatGPT or Claude?

Not necessarily. LoomaScale documents directory-based setup for both ChatGPT and Claude, followed by authorizing the ad account. A custom MCP connection is a different route and may involve client configuration or workspace administration.

Is a Meta Ad Library MCP the same thing?

No. A Meta Ad Library connector researches public advertising information. An account-level Meta Ads connector reads the accounts you authorize. Public creative research gives you no access to a competitor's private conversions or return on ad spend.

Does using MCP guarantee better advertising results?

No. A connector provides access to data and actions; it does not make a recommendation correct. Treat what the assistant proposes as a hypothesis, check the evidence behind it, and decide how to test a change before you scale it.
